Love Costs & is It's Own Reward!
Cleopatra ascertained (regarding her Mark Anthony), that love, (as loving love as only she), would never feign her Master be! Mark Anthony's reply, though kind, seemed destined from above; 'If you will not have Love your loving Master be, then you will not have Love!' As Love is not a thing, you see, but Person! - Mind and Will!, And where He surveys, Monarch's Look is sure to conquer still; So Kings & Pharaoh's (Sovereigns all!) must bend the knee to Master's Call! Where Love is, there is Master All: enrapt by Love's control, "Enthrall"! To lose control means turning loose of that which grips the tighter! Our struggle seems a loosing cause, but were we not the fighter. God Produced a germ in us that sprouts a mirror image of every Loving Thought He Gave as viewed from Holy Visage! One wonders (doesn't One?) at what it is we cling to!? When Giver Gave the Love that's Him, to him who is the Lover's you! What grasp is it that ever clings to what without God's never reached? 'Possessive' claims it's learned -but then- 'Never-listen's' never 'teached'! So, trusting Love is, (as it was), as Loving Trusts the Lover, the Master's Call is over-all the wonder we discover, when turning loose and losing all we never lose a thing! It's only then we realize - to God alone we cling!
