"Stand STILL, and SEE your Salvation!"-Ex 14:13
"Are you reduced to great straights and extraordinary difficulties? No retreat? "Shut up on the right hand and on the lest"? The Master says, 'Stand STILL!" At times like these it is best to listen ONLY to the Lord's voice.

Despair whispers, 'Lie down and die!; give it all up!' But God Wants us to have cheerful courage and rejoice in His Love and Faithfulness. Cowardice says, 'Retreat!; Go back to the way of the world; You cannot maintain Christian Principals - it's far too difficult!' But you must maintain because you are a Child of God! Rash-Impatience cries, 'DO something! Stir yourself; To stand and wait won't accomplish anything!' We MUST do something at once! WE must, we think, instead of Looking to our Lord who Does everything! Presumption boasts, 'If the sea is in your way, march up to it and EXPECT a Miracle!'

But Faith Hears none of these. It Hears God Say, "Stand STILL!", and does so - like a rock! We must keep in an upright Posture - ready for action, expecting further Orders. Wait patiently and cheerfully, and soon God will Say, 'Go Forward!'"-C.H.Spurgeon

Every Promise in the Book is mine - every Chapter, every Verse, every Line!"-Selected
"Waiting has four Purposes: (1) - It practices the Patience of Faith; (2) - It gives preperation time for the coming Gift; (3) - It makes the Blessing sweeter when it arrives; (4) - It shows the Sovereignnty of God, to Give just WHEN and AS He Pleases!"-James Vaugn
"In your PATIENCE possess ["win"] ye your souls!"-{Jesus, Lk 21:19}
"The life of fellowship WITH God cannot be built up in a day. It begins with the habitual reference TO Him, hour by hour - day by day. It then moves on to more and longer periods of Communion [WITH]; And it finds consumation and bliss in days and nights of Intercession and Waiting!"-F.B.Meyer
"Faith, mighty Faith, the Promise Sees -
And looks to God alone;
Laughs at impossibilities,
And cries, 'It SHALL be Done!'"
