Christ's Holy Seal: Intimacy WITH God!

CHRIST'S HOLY SEAL: INTIMACY -WITH- GOD!

Gen 3:24 "So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep (to "seal") the way of the tree of life." II Tim 2:19 "Nevertheless the foundation (or "way") of God standeth sure ( is "kept" by), having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his...." Rev 3:7 "...These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key (the Holy "seal") of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;"

Here we see that the "Royal Key" (or "Seal") is also a lock! Funny thing about locks; they "work" both ways! That is, as locked open: OPEN!; as locked closed: CLOSED! So it is with knowledge & intimacy; it works both ways. We cannot know without being known, and visa versa! Nor can we be loved without loving back! (Not Truly!). The secret of Loving God is letting Him Love us! Those who will not allow God to love them will soon find themselves without! And those who wish the Love of God have but to "open unto Him" and Receive! Who, then, will "suffer" (let!) God?; let him "come unto" (return to intimacy with) Him Who Loves - to learn of Him!

Mt 11:28,29 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." God calls us to return unto an innocent state of intimacy with Him in Christ! "Come Home", He says; "I Love you & Want you with me again!". But we must come as little children: open, sincere, trusting, humbly expectant - even eager! There is only One Way to Receive the Lord: WITH JOY! He is, (after all), JUBILEE Personified!

Spurgeon called this relationship of intimate faith-knowledge "the secret Mark of God's children"! He said this was, "the one mark, the sure mark, the infallible mark of regeneration and adoption"! And, contrasting this precious, intimacy with theological acumen, Oswald Chambers goes so far as to say, "The soul is in danger when knowledge of doctrine outsteps intimate touch with Jesus"!

No, we could safely say that the Hallmark or Guarantee of Relationship with God IS intimacy-with-Christ! This is why I contend the "Key" to that relationship is simple SHARING with God ALL the life left to me! That means scratching my head; swallowing; breathing; daydreaming, and every beat of my heart! Sound foolish? Not to God, it doesn't! And we really should examine just what it is in us that would "poo-poo" our sharing anything we have (ALL of which has been given by God!)!

Indeed, it is only by Way of the Holy Spirit's Tutelage that I've come to know and thank God for every breath I take for granted! Imagine not taking God for granted! That IS the Mind of Christ!

Continuous awareness and grateful acknowledgment of His EverPresence is the Hallmark Jesus continually remindeds us of, as in Jn 5:19-21 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself (alone, or apart from intimacy with the Father!), but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will." Man was made a part of God's Intimacy!

It could be said that man's sole purpose or function or design-intent was to SHARE INTIMATE LOVE ("knowledge") with God! Oh, not the "knowledge" of "good" and evil (as represented by deceit) - that "knowledge" was the death of the knowledge of Truth and of the Tree of Life! The lie was in the pretense that there was a better "knowledge" of "good" (as compared with evil) than was Lovingly Shared with God! Lucifer had nothing, ..NOTHING! ..for man apart from God! And it was for that nothing man "sold" his birthright of Intimacy-With-God which was his Nature!

This is why Salvation is never about deeds or works, but always about Nature and Fruit (Note: both are capitalized because of their SuperNature, i.e., that Of-Christ!). The "Work" of Faith is Believing (so as to Become!); just as the Fruit of the NewNature-In-Christ is of the Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, etc.)! Therefore, when Jesus tells us to "judge them by their Fruits", He means to Judge Rightly, as by the Spirit! Spiritual "Trees" bear Spiritual Fruit!

But "right-judging" (like "right-dividing") is a function of the Holy Spirit IN us. We call it "discernment", Jesus called it having "eyes to see"! And it's always True that only "ears that Listen & Hear" have "eyes to see"! So, staying "plugged in", as it were, is crucial to "sharing"! In the Garden of Eden, when "Innocence" lost "Intimacy", "Holiness" lost "Innocence"!

And, as I have long maintained that there is a "vow-of-troth" "Heart-carved" into the Trunk of the Tree Of Life which reads, "Holiness Loves Innocence"; so I now understand that the "Way" (or Road) Home to Loving-Intimacy with God is through the Righteousness of Christ-In-Us (our only Hope of Honoring, Sharing, Knowing & Loving God and returning to the Holy Intimacy of His Glory and Perfection!).

Jesus Forged a Way of Righteousness through His own Flesh Which Guarantees (Seals!) our Return to God! Any "other" way is anathema, and is the "way" which seems "right" to many! But man has but One Guide through mortality, the Indwelling Spirit of Almighty God Himself, even the Spirit of Truth and Holiness! That God would find a Humble Way to Live in mortal man, and Lead from death to Life Again is more than even Angels "speculate"! [1Pt 1:12]

Micah 6:7,8 "Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

Gen 3:8-11 "And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

Does God's "Voice Walk" in the "garden" of our hearts and minds? Are His Intentions, His Preferences, His Wishes and Thoughts foremost in our consciousness? If not, we can be sure we are (to one degree or other) "hiding" our "selves" from His Presence, and thus, to exposure to His Truth & Revelation! Here is True "nakedness", then: to be found hiding from Revealed Truth and cringing from (Refusing!) the Light of Christ!

Rev 3:18 "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Let us never make the mistake of thinking that such "White Raiment" are the "righteousness deeds" done in-the-Name of Christ rather than Christ's OWN Righteousness and the Deeds of HIS SuperNature!

Be not deceived, Paul did not "touch the Glory" when he said, "I can do all things through Christ Who Strengthens me"! Remember, it was Paul who also said, "It is not I that live, but Christ IN me"! But this very obscurity which tends to confuse is the very "mingling" which is the Mystery of Christ-In-us and our NewNature-in-Christ!

Here is the Intended Elohim (Messiah Come for us that we might return unto Him!). Such Intimate fellowship as Marks the Seal of Adoption as the "Sons of Light" from the "Father of Lights"! Here is the "Seed-Nature" of God's Intent Which Is the Product (Fruitage) of Love Eternal! At last, "I AM" is WITH "Beloved Of God"!

Jesus teaches that Origin determines Outcome (as Alpha becomes Omega) in Jn 10:1-3 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out." What "door"; what "Way"?

Jn 10:7-11 "Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."

Jn 14:5-7 "Thomas saith unto him, Lord, ... how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also..." What Christ DID that proved His Righteousness in Obedience was not in doing miracles or performing signs & wonders, but in His Selfless Act of Giving His Life (Soul) for the benefit of other's! That is His Righteousness! That Makes Him the Way of Righteousness for us; our "Door" or "Gate" to Return to Edenic Innocence-In-Christ (Child(Son)Likeness)!

But it is His NATURE in us (NewBirth) Which Makes us Like Him (as FirstFruits)! After all, the Nature is not in the Fruit, but in the Seed! And, as the Fruit may be for other's, the Seed is for God!

What is this "foundation of God" which "standeth sure, having the seal" which Paul speaks of? It is the very Fellowship of the Holy Spirit of the Living God in us - Who is Christ, our Lord! The Creator Inhabits His Creation!

And why not: "for God so Loved the Kosmos that He gave His Seed-Nature (Son), that whosoever desires Him may Come Unto Him by the Circumcision of His Repentance and Return to Innocent-Intimacy (Love-Knowledge) and Fellowship (Live, Share & Multiply Fruition) with Him Forever!".

As thus, we fulfill the Original Law (Love) of the Father; (Reap as Sown in Truth), the Obedient Law (Love) of the Son; (to Love as Loved), and the Ordinal Law (Love) of the Holy Spirit; (to Know [God] even as we are Known)!

I Cor 13:12 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." Hos 6:1-3 "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."

Isa 49:16 "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me." Song 8:6 "Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame."

Christ's Holy Seal is Intimate Love -With- God!
