Default = "....OR...." = Suicide! [No Choice!]

DEFAULT = ".........OR........." = SUICIDE! [No Choice!]

This OR that. Right OR wrong. Black OR white. Hmmmmm..... that little word "or" sure packs a lot of whollop.

I woke up this morning with a thought on my mind; "Rust OR lust? - NEITHER!" That is, neither conservative ("rust") nor liberal ("lust"). In this life, (as is no wiser put than in Ecclesiastes by Solomon, "under-the-sun"), BOTH are vanity! The Life God intended man should Live (with Him) is not about either.

Jesus says if we save & save (real conservative), moths & rust will consume our "increase" (excess). On the other hand, if we "eat, drink & be merry" today ("grab all the 'gusto' this 'merry-go-once--around' offers"), He says we have our reward here and now (like Lazarus' "rich man").

He says if we try to "save" this life, we'll "lose" it! So "rust" and "lust" end up the same - EMPTY; 'KAPUT'!; ZILCH! Leaves a man rather sour and defeated, huh?; Jaded! Full of disenfranchised contempt and cynicism.

But when a man breathes fresh air, it's a gift from God. And when he lays down to sleep, it's an act of faith. We do both (and so many other "common marvels" we take for granted) continuously, without ever giving God a thought - let alone acknowledging Him... nevermind THANKING Him!

We've got things confused. "CHOOSING" IS NOT ABOUT "OR" - IT'S ABOUT "HIM"! Our choice is sacrosanct, even sacred and absolutely final to God. He made us His choosers. Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; ==>and brought [them] unto Adam ==>to see what he would [choose to] call them: and whatsoever Adam called [chose for] every living creature, that [was] the name thereof. {Adam: or, the man}

But our choice is not between this worldliness or that flesh-likeness. OUR CHOICE IS HIS! Remember? Jesus wrestled this one down (once & for all for us) in the Garden of "decision". "THY CHOICE be done (thy choice be mine)". In other words, I choose YOU! Your wish. Your desire. Your preference - not mine!

No "or". No "this or that". "Well!".....you might say, ".....We have no choice, then! It's either God, or........". That's right!

We have no choice but to choose God! Why? Because God has already chosen us! There is no "or" because "or" is a Lie! It doesn't exist!

Anybody who thinks that "or" (or anything else) exists apart from God's Will is due for a rude awakening. And that's the vanity, or futility Solomon's talking about. And he ought to know - he died for, and dedicated his life to it!

We must never forget, the choice is ours - and THE CHOICE IS GOD! Any "other" choice is not "choice", but default (suicide)!

When God has forgotten any "or" that was sin, who will remember what He blotted out?

God chose you [IN-Christ]! REMEMBER HIM! [The same Way]
