"Omega" Begins With "Alpha"!

"OMEGA" BEGINS WITH "ALPHA"!

"... every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God ..." II Cor 10:5

Only what BEGINS in-Christ ~ ENDS in-Christ! In other words, what He did not start ("Alpha"), He cannot finish ("Omega") - (or, is not OF Him)! Man just can't seem to get it into his head that he's not Eternal! This life is dying! + Let me repeat that: THIS LIFE IS DYING! Nothing we do will survive our death!

There is a curious notion floating around that man can do (with God's Blessings) some virtuous, noble thing which will honor God, and thus, survive! Nothing could be further from the Truth!

Ro 14:23 "... for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Mat 12:30 ("Jesus") "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." Jn 15:5 ("Jesus") "... without me ye can do nothing." Ro 7:14,18 "... I am carnal, sold under sin. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing ..." Mat 19:26 "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

Jesus tried to tell us that we could (of ourselves) do nothing! Everything about Jesus Christ is SuperNatural (Eternal)! The Holy Spirit is just that - SPIRIT, DIVINE! Anything not "Spirit-instigated" is not "of the Spirit", and is therefore carnal, mortal and dying!

Sin is "other-than" from God! There is (after all) only God (and that which came from Him), and anything OTHER! All "other" than God is NOT! That is, it's a LIE! It does not truly exist!

When we become a New Creature IN-CHRIST it is for the purpose of sharing ALL things (every split second of life-breath!) with Him Who Is the new Owner, Possessor, Landlord, Master of the "house"!

Phil 2:13 "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." Even as it was written and promised long before in Ezk 36:27 "And I will put my spirit within you, and CAUSE you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall KEEP my judgments, and DO them." And in Zech 4:6 "... Not by might, nor by power, but by MY spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." HE would accomplish the "thing" (the perfecting, purifying, sanctifying)! The Glory would be all HIS! We are HIS "husbandry", or "handiwork"!

Here, then, is the true "Holy of Holies" in the sanctuary - our choice; our preference; our will freely (lovingly!) submitted and resigned- in-trust to the "lover of our soul" (our High Priest), Jesus Christ; Under the complete control & direction of the Holy Spirit! Words & actions come from thoughts, which begin as motives of the heart! What man truly knows the motives of his own heart? Only a fool would trust his Eternal Conclusion ["end"] to his own carnal heart!

Nu 4:15 "And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die." WE are the New Tabernacle of the Most High God Himself! He Dwells within us!

But we also dwell with Him! Now here is the dilemma! As it was, so it is! Whatever we "touch" (with our intentions; our purposes; our plans or determinations; our "control"; our manipulations; our "hands" - ...that thing "dies", spiritually!

That which is "touched" ("sprinkled") with the Blood of Christ comes Alive (Eternally!) - but that which we touch DIES! And which "touch" takes precedence? -->OUR WILL! God has bound Himself (as regards our outcome!) to our choice! God said that what WE say, goes! And it seems as true passively as actively! That is, the Holy Spirit WAITS to be "allowed" or "let" by us!

If we won't "let" Him, He won't! This explains Jesus's cryptic message in Rev 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Most people assume Jesus meant this as a one-time-only request, and that it was fully accomplished at the time of their conversion (as though everything ended rather than just BEGAN with that moment; the "NewBirth"!).

But we must continue to let Him "in" to all manner of areas in our hidden-hearts as the Holy Spirit DIRECTS! This is what is meant by Jn 16:7,12-14 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. I have yet MANY things to say unto you, but ye cannot BEAR them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: [and, then, you WILL be Able to "Bear-All-Truth"!] for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you."

Jn 8:36 ("Jesus") "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Jn 8:32 ("Jesus") "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." But He CAN'T Lead where we WON'T follow! And He can't "free" what the Blood hasn't "touched"! And what the Blood hasn't "touched" is "dead" (unto Eternity!).

Is it any wonder the old hymn says, "I will cling to the old rugged Cross!"? The world cannot understand this! And anything in us which agrees with the world in not understanding this will see us end in Hell! We must learn to "trust & obey" - there really is "no other Way"! But our part is not all passive; there are some things we can do.... We can WATCH!; we can PRAY!; we can LISTEN!; we can LEARN!; we can STUDY!; we can be DILIGENT!; we can OBEY!; we can GROW!; we can SHARE!; we can LOVE!; we can INVEST!; we can WALK and TALK with GOD!

But we can't do anything, think anything, plan anything, or even want anything without SHARING it with the Lord! That is, we can't if we want that "thing" to be Eternal! If it doesn't begin in Faith, it will end in futility! We're HIS now, and He has something to Say about every thought, idea, concept or conclusion we ever "bought" into! He wants to mold and shape us, and do a complete re-make of us on the inside! But He won't force it on us!

So, as Paul says in II Cor 10:5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" So what are these "high things" which challenge the knowledge or the truth of God which He wants to use to set us free? They are "notions", attitudes, conclusions, or what the legal profession's Latin term, "modus operandi"! These are the false-assumptions we all have "drawn" (been duped to believe) by a world and religious-system bent on deceiving us!

Only the Holy Spirit IN YOU can lead you to the "Promised Land"! That is, after all, why Jesus died and shed His Blood for you! What good will it do us if we inherit the Holy Spirit as our God-Given Birthright and resist and refuse Him like those who fell in the Wilderness long ago? Then we make Christ's Death a farce! It is possible for us to begin in the Spirit, and end in the flesh! Then how can "Alpha" ever "Omega"? How can He FINISH what He began in us? ...Think about it!
