"THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL"
Isai 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, [and] his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, [and] the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. {whom man...: or, that is despised in soul}
The Lord Jesus Christ --- the promised Messiah --- was "Israel's Holy One." They rejected Him, crying "Away with Him; we will not have this man to rule over us!", but they must have Him and the whole world must yet be ruled by Him. Kings and princes must bow to Him. He has been and is true to the Gentiles. He is true today, --- the Holy One Who stands before the people and bids them come to Him for forgiveness of sin for the joy of a new life.
Our Holy One, help us to reveal Thee to a lost world as the only Savior so that all men will bow to Thee as both Savior and Lord. Amen.
