"A SURE FOUNDATION"
Isai 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
There is but one "Sure Foundation" upon which we may build for eternity --- the Eternal Son Of God. He would be a foolish man who would attempt to construct and expensive house upon miry clay, but many, many men are careless and indifferent when it comes to their spiritual building. They build upon all sorts of foolish conceptions and think that it doesn't matter. How sad it will be for them when the rain descends, the floods come, the winds blow and beat upon such a house, for it will surely fall.
Help us, dear Lord, to seek to warn men to build upon "The Sure Foundation", Jesus Christ. Amen.
