How our hearts beat high with joy as we contemplate this title "Rock Of Ages", for such is the phrase in the original Hebrew. We feel like shouting out loud, "Praise the Lord Who is our Eternal Rock!" We cannot always trust in people. Sometimes even our dearest friends fail us. We cannot trust ourselves. We are human and weak. But, praise His Name, we can "trust in the Lord forever." Have we that trust? God forgive us if we have not, and let us from this moment fix our faith on the immmovable "Rock Of Ages."
Lord Jesus, Thou "Rock Of Ages", cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee! Amen.
