Matt 7:13 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: {strait: or, narrow} 14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. {Because: or, How}

GOD'S BIBLE NAMES 2/7

"HE IN WHOM I TRUST"

Psal 144:1 Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight: {strength: Heb. rock} {to war...: Heb. to the war, etc} 2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and [he] in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. {My goodness: or, My mercy}

What a combination of names and titles are found in these two verses, some of which have been considered elsewhere in this volume. But read them again. We sing and say, "He is everthing to me", and so He is. Why? Because every day of our lives we face circumstances which compel us to turn to Him, and in Him we find every need supplied. We trust in Him because we tested Him. If you have not, then do so now! "Trust in the Lord! + + + and verily thou shalt be fed!" Are you a parent? If you are, then you love to be trusted. So our Lord loves to be trusted.

Our loving Lord, help us to cast all our care upon Thee and trust Thee wholly from this time. Amen.
