"THE PRINCE OF PEACE"
Isai 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
What a joy it is to know that He is what we long for most of all in this sinful, wicked, restless world --- "The Prince Of Peace". He came to bring peace (Lk 1:79; 2:14), and when He went away He said to His disciples, "Peace I leave -WITH- you; My Peace I give unto you." Could there be any gift of greater value to men? Oh, that all might come to know Him and His peace-giving power!
We come to Thee, Thou blessed "Prince Of Peace", and accept from Thee the peace of God which passeth all understanding. Amen.
