"THE MEAT (MEAL) OFFERING"
Levi 2:1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be [of] fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
The whole chapter should be read to get the full illustration. Here we have a type of our Lord Jesus Christ in His perfect, sinless humanity. He is the "meal offering" in which there is no suggestion of blood, no sin-offering, but Christ in His Life on earth that is represented --- the holy, pure, perfect Man. This makes Him very near and very dear to us --- a Man, a realMan, a sympathizing, loving Man, Who came to earth for the one purpose, to prepare the Way for us!
Oh, Thou Who art our "Meal Offering", impress Thine Image upon the tablets of our memory. Amen.
