"MY STAY"
2Sam 22:19 They prevented ["came upon"-RSV] me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
What a picture of human hatred! Satan has always hated our Lord. His forces are always arrayed against Him. David had the same experience, but God delivered him and protected him. Jehovah was his Stay, and He Is our Stay. He can reach down that strong arm of His and protect us, and He loves to do it. Let us live in fellowship -WITH- Him, lean hard on Him, Love Him, trust Him for all emergencies.
We rejoice in Thee, Thou Stay of David and our Stay. Hold us fast today. Amen.
