"A SCEPTRE"
Numb 24:17 (KJS) I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. {smite...: or, smite through the princes of}
The Sovereign holds the staff, or "Septre", the symbol of power. It shall be a Real Dominion. The Truth shall prevail by the Power of the Holy Spirit of God. It is His Kingdom, and the Power and the Glory are His! The kingdoms of this world are doomed. They must fall. But the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must survive and dominate all other kingdoms and bring all to His feet; His Plans are fully outlined in His Word, and we know that the day of His Power is coming soon.
Lord Jesus, unto Whom has been commited all Power in Heaven and in earth, grant us Thy Power to glorify Thy Name this day. Amen.
