The Star is the symbol of power, say the astrologers. Stars are in the Heavens. We must look up to see them. We wonder at the brightness and the multitude of them. The prophesy here is of the Star of Bethlehem, which pointed the way to the "Star out of Jacob" Whose effulgent beams have shone into the hearts of millions who have rejoiced in the Light of His Person and Presence.
Oh, Thou Who art the "Star of Jacob", we pray that many of Thine own people, Israel, may see Thy Light and love and obey Thee! Amen.
