Jesus said he would be crucified, And he was. He said he would rise from the dead, And he did. He said he would ascend to heaven, And he did. He said he would be made known world-wide, And he is. He said he would come again, And he will.

Everything Jesus says happens. He said, unless you receive him, You will perish, And you will. He said, if you trust in him to save you, He will save you, And he will.

Jesus said: He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Jesus did not say to trust in your religion and him, Or your church and him, Or yourself and him. He said trust in him.

Yes, God wants you to repent, But do not trust in your repentance to save you. Yes, God wants you to be baptized, But do not trust in your baptism to save you. Not faith in repentance, not faith in baptism, not faith in you, But rather faith in Christ.

Does belonging to your church seem needed to you for eternal life? Do not be deceived, trust only in Christ.

Does it seem to you as though Christ will give you eternal life If you do all that you can do? Do not be deceived, you are not your savior, not in the least.

And if you are able to trust in Christ alone to save you, Know that even that faith you have in Christ is given you by God, And is not of yourself.

Where you put your trust for eternal life Is the most important question in your life. Your eternity depends on the answer to that question.

Dear one, I pray the answer to that question for you Will be Christ and none other.

"The corruption of man"

Colossians 1:17 And He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the first born from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell;

Ephesians 5:23-4, For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the savior of the body. Therefor as the church is subject unto Christ... ( I don't see him say unto the successors of Peter)

Even Peter himself wrote in his epistle pointed to Christ being the chief cornerstone and God's people being a royal priesthood. In Chapter 6 of 1 Peter he calls himself one among the elders.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. AMEN. IIPeter 3:18

Christ is the cornerstone Christ is the head Christ is the groom Christ is the one returning

Christ being the head of the church moves not through organizations or building built of man but in the temple of living stones, the body, the church, the bride. Chaos does not totally reign because of the work of His Holy Spirit through the believers. Believers of Christ, born of His Spirit are not bound by denomination but are sent into the by ways and paths of this world order to preach the good news to any that will receive it.

The church is that living body of Christ. It is not about succession it it about redemption.

A Love Story

One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Ah, the beauty of God's creation is beyond description. As I watched, I praised God for His beautiful work. As I sat there, I felt the Lord's presence with me. He asked me, "Do you love me?"

I answered, "Of course, God! You are my Lord and Saviour!"

Then He asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still love me?" I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body and wondered how many things I wouldn't be able to do, the things that I took for granted.

And I answered, "It would be tough Lord, but I would still love You."

Then the Lord said, "If you were blind, would you still love my creation?"

How could I love something without being able to see it? Then I thought of all the blind people in the world and how many of them still loved God and His creation.

So I answered, "Its hard to think of it, but I would still love you."

The Lord then asked me, "If you were deaf, would you still listen to my word?"

How could I listen to anything being deaf? Then I understood. Listening to God's Word is not merely using our ears, but our hearts.

I answered, "It would be tough, but I would still listen to Your word."

The Lord then asked, "If you were mute, would you still praise My Name?"

How could I praise without a voice? Then it occurred to me: God wants us to sing from our very heart and soul. It never matters what we sound like.

And praising God is not always with a song, but when we are persecuted, we give God praise with our words of thanks.

So I answered, "Though I could not physically sing, I would still praise Your Name."

And the Lord asked, "Do you really love Me?"

With courage and a strong conviction, I answered boldly, "Yes Lord! I love You because You are the One and true God!"

I thought I had answered well, but God asked, "THEN WHY DO YOU SIN?"

I answered, "Because I am only human. I am not perfect."

"THEN WHY IN TIMES OF PEACE DO YOU STRAY THE FURTHEST? WHY ONLY IN TIMES OF TROUBLE DO YOU PRAY EARNESTLY?"

No answers. Only tears.

The Lord continued: "Why only sing at fellowships and retreats? Why seek Me only in times of worship? Why ask things so selfishly? Why ask things so unfaithfully?"

The tears continued to roll down my cheeks.

"Why are you ashamed of Me? Why are you not spreading the good news? Why in times of persecution, you cry to others when I offer My shoulder to cry on? Why make excuses when I give you opportunities to serve in My Name?"

I tried to answer, but there was no answer to give.

"You are blessed with life. I made you not to throw this gift away. I have blessed you with talents to serve Me, but you continue to turn away. I have revealed My Word to you, but you do not gain in knowledge. I have spoken to you but your ears were closed. I have shown My blessings to you, but your eyes were turned away. I have sent you servants, but you sat idly by as they were pushed away. I have heard your prayers and I have answered them all."

"DO YOU TRULY LOVE ME?"

I could not answer. How could I? I was embarrassed beyond belief. I had no excuse. What could I say to this? When my heart had cried out and the tears had flowed, I said, "Please forgive me Lord. I am unworthy to be Your child."

The Lord answered, " That is My Grace, My child."

I asked, " Then why do you continue to forgive me? Why do You love me so?"

The Lord answered,

" Because you are My creation. You are my child. I will never abandon you. When you cry, I will have compassion and cry with you. When you shout with joy, I will laugh with you. When you are down, I will encourage you. When you fall, I will raise you up. When you are tired, I will carry you. I will be with you till the end of days, and I will love you forever."

Never had I cried so hard before. How could I have been so cold? How could I have hurt God as I had done? I asked God, "How much do You love me?"

The Lord stretched out His arms, and I saw His nail-pierced hands. I bowed down at the feet of Christ, my Saviour. And for the first time, I truly prayed.

God says to Abraham that his descendants will number the same as the sands on the seashore *and* the stars in the heaven.

Okay, so who, besides Archimedes, wants to count the grains of sand? It would be like trying to count the descendants.

The stars, however, well, at the time, that number was limited to the magnitude visible to the human eye, a number somewhere between 2,000 and 8,000 if you count only one hemisphere. Abraham might have had more sheep than that! So, the hypothesis is that this reference was a laughable record to those who knew the heavens, laughable, that is, up until the time of Galileo. And, guess what, now no one wants to guess at how many stars there might be. Where is the flaw in this idea, or did God have a record made which was immediately falsifiable but turned out later to be verifiable?

....................My Reply:

Continue attempting to PROVE God to fools, and you will only inherit a fistful of doubt for your trouble. For any who WANT Him, God Reveals His Reality; for those who don't, He hardens!

One thought, tho... it's an odd phenomenon - peripheral-vision. There are many star which, if you attempt to view them directly, vanish into an apparent invisibility. But when viewed out of the 'corner' of the eye, they somehow miraculously reappear! Life's like that, too, sometimes - huh?

I enjoyed your article very much. I am very aware that our church is in "Laodician" state , which falls right into what you talked about. But not just the church. Myself personally, and my husband too. The lethargy is horrifyingly subtle and toxic.

I'd appreciate your prayers for our family to become truly spiritually revived. I was reading 2 Peter 1 the first 13 verses or so, and he states that if we have the attributes of knowledge, self-control, brotherly kindness, love growing in us in greater measure our witness for Christ will be effective and fruitful, and if we don't have those attributes it is because we are blind and have forgotten that our past sins are forgiven.

He calls the Laodician church in Rev. blind, amongst other things, and perhaps in forgetting our sins have been forgiven, and continue to be as we confess them, we have forgotten His awesome grace for us, and our hearts have become puffed up with self-righteousness, and in my spiritual walk - the most deadly of sins.

Anyhow I'm rambling. Thank you for your essay.

....................My Reply:

First things first: Are you BornAgain, NewCreatures-in-Christ? God PROMISED us He'd Make things Right-in-us; He Promised us a Conversion; a Repentance BACK to Him in:

Ezek 36:26 (KJV) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and ***[I will] cause you*** to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

How does He DO it? He Tells us: "Not by 'power' nor by 'might'... but by MY Spirit, Says the Lord!" [inside us]

Next: "Can we Talk?"

God Wants a RE(A)L-ationship WITH us. Jesus did not Die & Shed His Blood for a 'religion', 'philosophy' or 'creed'. It Pleased God to Bruise Him because He Wanted us BACK! Can you HEAR Him? Are you LISTENING? Do you WANT to Hear Him? Are you MAKEing time FOR Him? Are you really spending time-WITH Him [quiet, daily, alone-time, that is] in His Living, Written Word? Are you sharing with Him all your "cares and woes" and fears and hurts and joys and gladnesses? Or are you DENY-ing Him your presence?

Finally: WILL YOU OBEY?

If you ARE Hearing Him, spending time-WITH Him, sharing all your thoughts, words and deeds in His Presence... and He Is Speaking to your heart as you Converse and have REAL-ations WITH Him... When He TELLS you something, are you honest? Will you ADMIT [accept] His Truth - as though it is actually what you WANT? And, having admitted it to Him, will you OBEY Him? Will you TRY? And will you keep ON trying? Will you persevere? Or will you quit on God?

What do you WANT? Do you really WANT God... ...His Ways?

If you do not, then REPENT!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

God really WANTS you! He really wants you BACK! And He wants that NOW! I hasten to add, [and I do hope this literally scares the Hell out of you!], there doesn't SEEM to be a whole lot of God-Bonding TIME left! Tho we are not to attempt to out-guess God in His Timing as to Christ's Return, the Lord Himself Adjured us solemnly to WATCH for the SEASON! And, from everything THIS "Watcher" can see, the Season is AT-HAND!

I beg you to take SERIOUSLY your concern by COMMITTING all resources at your disposal - all time, effort, intent, talent and inclination - to this ONE Purpose: Seeking God FIRST in every moment you have left in this world! WHAT??? Will you try - REALLY try - and God NOT Know... CARE... RESPOND??

God Bless you and your family...

3/27/97 (in response to an essay sent to me re: 'spiritual discernment'...)

Hello there...

Read the above essay & certainly agree. And I do want to thank you for your Ministry! And I must say you've given me some wonderful ideas to use on my own website.

Re: the essay; it occurs to me that what most folks miss, in their attempts to 'understand' Spiritual Discernment, is the simple, straight-forward [childlike] fact that this was precisely WHY Jesus Came, Lived, Served, Died, Rose and Ascended to the Right Hand of God the Father; Re(A)l-ationship. To put it in 2 words, "ASK GOD!". Heb 10:20

The Lord certainly Knows. And if we have a Re(A)l-ationship WITH Him, Jesus flatly States that His sheep "Hear" [can Discern] Him. But we must ASK. Most won't. Most don't WANT to Hear what God has to Say to them! [Knowing might Require Obeying!]

Too, we soon Learn [the hard way for most of us] that Discernment is the PRODUCT {Fruit} of OBEDIENCE; if we won't DO as we HEAR, we soon develop hardened hearts & clogged ears!

It is such an odd phenomenon... I have noticed in these Laodicean, last daZe... that, as Jesus Describes "sheep-ness" in Terms of Re(A)l-ationship, it appears that this very OMISSION [sin of unbelief] is at the root-cause of so many's AGAPE-LOVE "waxing cold"!

I am convinced that the symptom known as "itchy ears" is caused by the continued [deliberate] habit of plugging them with defiant fingers! And, lest any of us point at "those" & "them" as guilty of this selective form of rebellion, I think we ought to re-think our Lord's Statements in Jn 6:28,29 [in the Light of] Jn 5:44.

Jesus makes it clear as to THE Work of the King-DOMinion for each of us. My Work is my unbelief! And the greatest single barrier to my Overcoming [by God's Leading & Power] may be the social, worldly training [mind-set, engraved on my psyche] to ask-of/listen-to MAN instead-of [or in preference to] God Himself!

It seems apparent [tho only He Knows why...] that God Actually Loves each of us so much as to be INSANELY Jealous over our priorities and choices... and, might I add, TIME. What happens when a man discovers this Nature-Characteristic in God is usually Profound. This is the stuff of which true Saints are Made!

Anyway, I am pleased to make your acquaintance-in-Christ, and will continue to Watch with you as the daZe grow dimmer and the Day Appears.

I've only been a born again christian for almost two months and I have a problem dealing with my brother who doesn't think God exist. We've been getting into argument about my being a born again christian and how I'm worshipping God through Jesus Christ and etc... I'm sure someone out there know what I'm going through trying to explain to someone about what is being a born again is all about to all non-christian. My problem is that my brother doesn't believe that I'm a christian because I've been using his computer and though he bought the computer, he also stole some part for the computer and now he is telling me that my knowing about what he done that I'm also sinning because I'm using his computer.

What I need to know is yes I do know that he stole some part for the computer and I am using his computer still. But I've also ask God for forgiveness. Is it wrong for me to continue to use his computer even if I need it to read this newsgroup and use my bible software which to me is important, or should I stop using the computer altogether.

I really appretiate a reply from anyone for I'm am confused and need some encouragement.

............... My response:

Do you belong to a church? Are you studying God's Living Word, the Bible, EVERYDAY? And are you doing so alone with God? And are you asking Him to Guide & Teach you?

You must not get "into" it with your brother about being a Christian. How did YOU become one? Did not the Holy Spirit Woo you and Convict you and Draw you to Conversion? Then you must allow Him to do that with & for your brother. Remember, he has a right to refuse the Lord just as YOU did!

As to the computer, have you Asked God what HE thinks you should do? And if God Said for you to LEAVE IT ALONE - WOULD you?

You now have a Re(A)l-ationship WITH God in-Christ. But you must now FEED to GROW - or you will never Bear Holy FRUIT!

Ask God!

Then OBEY HIM!

Hope this helps?

Thank You for the message today, It is the only positive thing going for me right now. It is totatly descriptive of my situation. Thank you

............. my response:

Sorry to hear about the "rough spots" you're encountering. One thing... please take time out to get QUIET before the Lord and SHARE what's on your heart WITH Him.

Many times we've collected so much 'garbage' [pain and fear and anxious worries, etc] that we don't even KNOW how upset we are inside - until we go before the Lord.

Seems our souls are capable of absorbing far more pain than we know. But when we "cast it all on Him", and let Him Care for us, we Learn what's REALLY 'eating' us from the inside out! Only THEN can we truly TURN LOOSE of it and LET GO to God.

Anyway, that's how it is with me.

It's hard 'abandoning the outcome' to God - but it PAYS!

God bless your struggles!

5/1/97

I'm so glad you're on the Web...... I love reading your Daily Devoitional! What an inspiration and a way to end the day...for me! I can't get this in the a.m. I leave too early.....but it's there for me every evening when I come home from work.

Thank you -- In His Name...

............. my response:

Yes, God is always THERE for you - whenever you MAKE the time for Him! And I do know just how hectic and frenetic our frenzied, frazzled lives can be[come] - if we LET them!

I'm so glad you're taking time to be[come] Holy! - that is, QUIET before the Lord! Thing's will only get faster and more chaotic as we approach His Return!

I am convinced it does no good to PRAY if we won't WATCH! And WATCHING without WAITING [on the Lord] is but vexation! No Wonder the Lord Says that we "WIN our soul-lives by our patient WAITING"! [Lk 21:19 RSV, WEY, MOF, ASV, etc]

Well, KEEP HIS PEACE...

5/3/97 I just wanted to thank you for those lovely poems, especially "Dark Choices" and "Lovechoice." I enjoyed all of them, but those two in particular.

.............. my response:

Thanks for the 'flowers'. Poems are precious things, fragile, tough, fragrant and tasty all at once.

Please read on [some essays, maybe??]... and SHARE your thoughts, comments and questions with me!

God Bless your QUEST for Him...

5/5/97

I found your page a couple of weeks ago, I do not remember now the link by which I got to you, but it has been a blessing to me. I have several sites I visit every day, and yours is literally, the first one on my list. I appreciate it very much.

................ my response:

Thank you very much for your 'flowers'... and don't ever think we men don't fancy a nice 'bouquet' now & again!

I covet your talent as a writer. I am an untrained admire-er [how in the world do you spell that word?] of the fine art of journalism. And, tho I'm also not much of a poet, I do love poems as well. I guess your trained eye can tell at a glance the hapless state of my 'art' - no?

I did visit your website... and read "DO HOLY LAUGHTER AND SPIRITUAL DRUNKENNESS A REVIVAL MAKE? . And I found the following words provoking: "A prophetic warning from the 1906 Azusa Street Revival, which gave sustenance, if not birth to the Pentecostal Movement, is being ignored today. In the last days three things will happen, the message said. There will be an overemphasis on power, rather than on righteousness. There will be an overemphasis on praise, to a God to whom they no longer pray. There will be an overemphasis on the gifts of the Spirit, rather than on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The laughing, spiritually inebriated revival bears all the marks of that prophecy.

"...an overemphasis on power, rather than on righteousness..." strikes a bell. The Lord has been Teaching me so much about this very thing in these 'last daZe'. And this morning He woke me with the Thought that this is nothing short of what I call "Simonizing"! [Acts 8:13-23]

Yet it is also this very thing that is so LACKING in the lukewarm - the Power of the Holy Spirit in their lives to be TRANSFORMED and CONVERTED and SANCTIFIED. Such as SAY they are "BornAgain", but have not the Power to Overcome, as in 1Jn 5:4, deceive themselves. And all who believe that God will Save and not EXPECT from that Salvation such Holiness as is His Own Character are in error.

It is clear to me that when Jesus Says that we must Worship God in Truth and in Spirit, He Means in God's Own Truth - that is, His Reality - that we are 'Made-In-His-Image', and that we are to Come AS-CALLED - in His Own Spirit, which is Holiness! This He has Promised us from OLD [see Ezk 36:26,27]. Those that presume to have God and not His WAYS are in error. And those who would have God's gifts - BUT FOR HIS FRUITION - will fail.

I am not a good student. But O, is God a good Teacher! And I have found in Christ that I CAN Learn of Him - and that I CAN Obey and even PLEASE my Lord! This is a very great encouragement to me! And God has Taught me that Spiritual Discernment is the PRODUCT of OBEDIENCE! Thank God for His Gift of Divine Obedience; even the very Person of Christ Himself - for us!

Do please correspond with me... [?] I would encourage you in the Lord!

.... as for me, I'm WITH Him!

5/8/97

Where are you from? Is this a magazine or your personal homepage? How long hvave you been a believer? Write when you can.

........... my response:

No, this is only my personal webpage... but the Lord has me do quite a bit of writing [for my own education, mainly, I think...].

Thanks for your interest, & please feel free to "Pow Wow" with me LIVE if you find a good topic for discussion!

5/8/97

I just found your site and it is absolutely amazing.

I certainly will not be able to explore it all in one day :) but I look forward to this "Gold MINE" of Christian resources.

Thank you for putting in the time to create such a bright, beautiful and busy page.

I love the little doggie :)

............. my response:

Great!

Please do some browsing & snooping... and then come & chat LIVE with me on Pow Wow! If you don't have it, just download it FREE!

Hi, I just wanted to say I didnt have a meal I had a feast. A very consuming book ["Soul Food"], I couldnt stop reading.

............ my response:

I jes hadda hunch yud cottin to thet lil book!

If Watson's Vision of God and how He Deals with and Feeds us by what I call "RE(A)L-ationship" 'squares' with how the Lord has Led you, you might also find some of the other resources on the site helpful as well.

5/11/97

I am a Swedish Christian student of 18, and I have recently taken up IRC chatting, with the goal of testifying about Jesus. However, you seem to be experienced in both the ways of the Lord and the ways of computers...could you please give me some practical advice about IRC-witnessing by E-mail? You could also post it on your page, there is surley a need for some guidelines.

As I noticed that you post poetry on your page, I here include a poem of mine. If you find it worthwhile, post it on your page, otherwise, just tell me in your reply.

May God bless your page!

............. my response:

There is a new "LIVE on the IRC" [and now POW-WOW chat] section on the "PILGRIM'S PATH..." you might want to read. Also, please be advised that there is a reference list of Bible Texts that I have developed as a result of my experience on the IRC. It's designed as a topical 'at-a-glance' help for just this purpose, and it has been invaluable to me. [It needs to be updated, and will be again soon, I hope]. It is in the form of a long, vertical list [down the left-hand side of a piece of paper], so you can print it - cut it - and, when stapled, use it as a Bible bookmark! It does WONDERS for me in helping me study, as well!

Please "don't GO where God doesn't SEND you [specifically]!" That is, if you are not SURE that God has CALLED you to the IRC [or any other ministry, for hat matter]; - not in these last 'daZe'! It is FAR too dangerous to immerse yourself in such concentrated EVIL without a clear MANDATE from the Lord! It is for sure that, "where the Lord LEADS you, He'll KEEP you!", but the issue of Obedience and Lordship *IS* the Issue [Test] of His Returning, so... [see?]

God LOVES those who DO His Word. Trouble is, most folks won't LISTEN to Him - they're too busy with man's ways to be BOTHERED ["messed-with"] by God!

ASK the Lord, listen and then WAIT! TEST what you think you hear from Him - like GIDEON did! If God ASKS you, He won't mind your PROVING what is His Perfect Will for you! But if you 'run-ahead-of-the-Lord', as they say... then you will find yourself WITHOUT His Grace! This is happening all too often these daZe! And LOOK at the "lukewarmness" all about you because of it! [?]

God bless your QUEST for Him! "If [as] you SEEK Him, He surely Will be FOUND by you!"

Let me know if I can be of any help to you...

5/12/97

I just wanted you to know I read your devotionals "God's Names" most everyday. Thankyou it is such a blessing to me. It gives me new insights that I have never thought about. God bless you, In His

.......... my response:

Thank you for taking the time to encourage me! Did you know that THAT is quite a Ministry in itself? God is so very PLEASED with you when you are KIND [as you are] to those of His other Laborers in the field! We must all remember, the Harvest is HIS!

Concerning Faith:

I woke up one morning at 3 am in my 5 year old's bed. (I had fallen asleep with him earlier that evening) Since his little bunk bed was a bit short for me and he is a kicker, I decided to stumble into our bedroom and climb into bed with my wife.

I had been dwelling on the subject of faith for some time now and found myself pondering something my pastor had said in a recent sermon: "Faith is the ability to see with certainty the outcome of an event prior to the event."

So at 3:01 am halfway between my son's room and my own, God spoke these words to me: "Faith is a glimpse, a snapshot, if you will, of My reality." I remember being scared I might forget it so I scrambled to find a pen to write it down.

I believe that faith is a spiritual gift and is given in different measures. Rather than try to manufacture faith, I simply ask for more of it. I know that God is "able to do exceeding abundantly above what I can ask or think" so, brother, I always ASK BIG!

I have found that not only has God allowed my faith to stretch, as it were, but along with that He has given me a stewardship of prayer. I find that people are always asking me to pray for their requests. I have come to believe that God "appoints and annoints" those with whom He can trust with the priviledge of prayer.

Isn't it interesting that our Bible says "for without faith, it is impossible to please God." And yet the very thing that pleases him has its origin with Him.

I find your page well thought out and inspiring. May God's blessings completely overwhelm you!

.......... my response:

With your permission, I am going to publish your e-mail to me in a new section on my website. Not only because it is complimentary and kind [that too, of course], but because of the content.

You will do well to encourage me - and those like me - in the Faith. Not only are we exhorted to do this very thing [in many places in God's Living Word - such as Heb 3:12-14], but because it is just by such we MAGNIFY, HONOR and OBEY our Lord's Mandate to Love one another [including washing one another's feet] even as He has Loved us!

Will you now also honor your heavenly Father further by a Sonship which will endow your own son with his heavenly Father? Will you give the Gift Given to you by Christ and SHOW your son your Lord?

O!, what a precious Treasure we are to God when we WILL as God has Done on our behalf! No other Light - no other Salt on earth shines so brightly as His Peace Ruling, Reigning and Commanding our hearts in this wicked, sick and wayward world.

Thank you for your earnest honesty and kind words to a sometimes weary sojourner. Your's was a 'drink of water' to a 'passing stranger'. My God Loves me - and now you - for His Mercy's sake!

Do please share with me - from time to time - what else the Lord is Teaching you, Showing you, and with what He Blesses you.

5/22/97

Wow, I really appreciate your efforts for the Lord! I have your "Names" page selected as my starter. The hymns are tremendous, graphics & animations are neat, everything is so well done. Thanks. The Lord bless you richly...

.......... my response:

Thanks for the 'flowers'! You might just be surprised at how important and encouraging such thoughtful little gestures as are these few kind words of yours. Discouragement is one of the MOST powerful spiritual weapons used against us in these latter daZe skirmishes with the accuser.

A 'dialogue' is described by Webster's as a "conversation; an oral exchange of information or ideas; an instance of conversational exchange; conversation, chat, colloquy, confabulation, converse, parley, talk." CAN WE TALK?

If you are going to use the devotionals regularly, the Lord will certainly use them to Speak to your heart. When He does, would you please take a moment (from time to time) and share those thoughts with me by setting them down in writing, in the form of a simple e-mail?

You might be surprised how such testimonial converse ('dialogue') - {as contrasted with what usually 'passes-for' "fellowship" these daZe - sans Jesus Christ!} - might do to strengthen your own FOCUS on The LORD as you are Led on your own PILGRIM'S PATH...

Concerning Russian translations:

Greetings! I'm from Russia. One month ago I've visited first christian web site. I've been suggested to visit your site. And I'm very glad that in west Europe and in whole the world there are so many God's true people. I'm from Russia, Astrachan near Caspian sea. During six years I belong to Lord Jesus. Not long ago I translated from english into russian "war on the saints' by mrs. Penn-Lewis and some books of brother Nee. I'm not so expirienced in Internet and I need a help in seeking online free books because I want to translate for russian saints books of God's people. May be I can't find it on your site but they are. It would be very good if somebody will communicate with me by E-mail. Thank's

.......... my response:

God bless you and your family this day!

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful e-mail. It is always so good to hear from God's children from around the world.

I think what you are doing for the Lord there in translating some of the wonderful works God has performed through his saints over the years {many of which are available only in English, unfortunately} for those of your fellow Christian Pilgrims in your own tongue will surely make your Lord very proud and pleased. I commend you in this!

Please feel free to copy or translate and distribute anything you find on the Pilgrim's Path website. God will surely be honored in such an effort on behalf of your people.

I would also suggest that you consider translating and distributing a wonderful, small booklet by the name of "THE PURSUIT OF GOD" by A.W.Tozer. This book has been placed online @: http://www.surfplaza.com/pursuit/ .

Another book that would be a wonderful supplement to any saint's devotional collection would be "Hind's Feet On High Places" by Hannah Hurnard. Although I know of no online text of this book at this time, I would be more than happy to lend you my copy and to send it to you if you would like. But you would need to send me your mailing address for that.

And I have found that daily devotionals have been of more consistent help and encouragement to me in my 34-year walk with Jesus Christ than any other aid. They have helped me stay FOCUSED on the Lord and on His Living Written Word-Will, the Bible, more effectively than anything.

Of these, the all-time most helpful has been "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers. An online version of this daily devotional book can be found @: http://www.gospelcom.net/rbc/utmost/ . I highly recommend this daily devotional as well as those others listed on the Pilgrim's Path in the "AUDIO-INDEX"/"AUDIO-DEVOTIONALS" section as well.

May God richly bless your work for Him with His Joy and Peace and His encouragement as well. Do please keep in touch, as you have leave and time to do - it helps to know that we are all part of God's wonderful Family on earth in-Christ!
