God's Good Judgment - The CROSS!

GOD'S GOOD JUDGMENT - THE CROSS!

When the first wicked witch in the Wizard Of Oz is crushed & dies beneath Dorothy's house, all the little Munchkins dance for joy! Why? Does this mean these precious "darlings" were somehow evil, cruel, spiteful or vindictive? No, not at all! It means they were greatly relieved of the tyranny of her evil reign over them!

Remember their singing and dancing, "the wicked witch is dead!"... over & over again? Justice had been restored at last!

Well, that's kind of the way it was at the Cross! The death of Death - at last!

People think Jesus Died that day! But (in Reality), Satan "died" that day as surely as Adam "died" the day he touched Satans Fruit!

Then why is it people seem to think God's Judgment is something to be afraid of? Is it because they don't know Him? Or do they just not understand?

Listen to these 3 selected verses in Eph 2:13,16,18: "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. - And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: - For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father."

Now "nigh"="near"; "reconcile"="bring together", or "make of two, one"; "access"="way", or "entrance".

There are three things listed as causing this "Way of One-ness is Proximity"; they are: 1-Blood; 2-Cross; 3-Spirit.

But notice HOW it was accomplished (this Judgment of God's Wrath on Sin & Satan) - by slaying (that means killing) ENMITY! That's the "wicked witch".

Our flesh HATES God! And God Hates what sin has done to us in the flesh. It has turned us into God-haters! (That's what an idolater is).

The Blood cleanses us from our sin-nature, and applies Christ- Righteousness to us. A Spiritual Birth takes place in us and we are Given God's Holy Spirit of Truth and the honor and Power to Worship Him in that Spirit and Truth.

As the Spirit Leads, Guides & Teaches us, He continues to Perfect our Abiding in Christ. We learn to Follow our Lord as we're taught to Listen & Hear His Voice. He continually (daily) Leads us to His Cross (now ours too!) at which we too lay down our "grip", or "hold" on "life", as we Walk with Him.

As it was His Joy to Die for us, we are enabled & learn it is our honor & joy to live for Him!

He has made it possible for us to Love Him. Here is Wisdom. Here is His Good Judgment! We should be dancing & singing like the Munchkins!
