Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. --- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: --- Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; --- Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. --- And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. --- Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
