It's All Right To Dies If You're DEAD!

IT'S ALL RIGHT TO DIE IF YOU'RE DEAD!

What's all this crying about dying? There ain't no "up" without "down"; no "in" without "out"! And living THIS life without dying would be Hell itself! God forbid! I think we've got this whole thing about dying all mixed up! I mean, it depends on how you "look" at it, doesn't it? Like, does the caterpillar "die" when it becomes a chrysalis, or then again, a butterfly? How about the blossom - does it die to give rise to the fruit?

Jesus said the "seed" had to "die" first or it couldn't "bear fruit"! Apparently, any "fruit" that has not undergone a prior-"death" process isn't fruit at all! But do we "die" each night when we go to sleep? How about when we "grow"? Does our "size" "die" when we out-grow it? And when I move from one room into another, does the room I just left "die"? JUST WHERE DOES METAPHOR END, AND REALITY BEGIN?

The answer, of course, IS! That is, the answer IS Jesus Christ ("IS"="I AM"). Jesus tried to explain all this at Lazarus' wake, remember? "Jesus said unto her (Martha), I AM the resurrection, and the life: He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever LIVETH and believeth in Me shall N E V E R D I E! BELIEVEST THOU THIS?" Man alive! What a question! Do you believe THIS?

Well, that's about the long and the short of it! "Dying" (to THIS life) ain't no 'shucks' if you're already DEAD to it, and ALIVE to what Jesus means by "shall never die"! It's all about turnin' loose - lettin' go.

We all get born into this "life" only to be told we're all going to "die". No way out but death, they say! But the Gospel (Good News From God To/For Man) proclaims Life AFTER what we call "death" (this life!).

After all, "graduation" is all about going on, not "hanging it up"! Graduation's what matriculation's all about! That's why we're HERE - to *PROCEED* IN-CHRIST!

Jesus Christ I S our life now (remember, Paul said He "died" daily!).

Someday it'll dawn on most of us; it ain't the dying, it's the L I V I N G that's rough. Well then, let's all hope we DIE for Christ better than we ever LIVED for Him!
