God's Conclusion

GOD'S CONCLUSION

Ecc 12:13,14 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment (will prove it!), with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

Jesus said Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived, and these were his final words on the matter of wisdom (that is, the conclusion or proof of all things!).

Moses tried to tell his people the same thing in Dt 13:3 "...for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul." The word "for" indicates a conclusion. And where there is a conclusion, there is usually a predicate (upon which that conclusion rests). In other words, the conclusion proves the predicate!

In this case, the predicate is the word "if" in Dt 13:1-3 "If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; you shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

So God "proves" (or tests) "to KNOW"! "But", you say, "doesn't God know already?". The answer is; not without testing & proving! Why?

Because of a thing He Created called "free will"! God has Chosen to defer His Choice (as relative to each soul) to that man! God has ordained the outcome to man's free will (choice)! That means He only "Knows" when (after!) man chooses!

The clearest example of this in Scripture is found in a Statement regarding the "Father" of our Faith (Abraham), and the "Author & Finisher" of our Faith, Jesus Christ.

We find Abraham at the Zenith of His Test-of-choice on top of a mountain in Gen 22:12 "And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou Fearest (Lovest MOST!) God, ...seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me." [Who Gave him to you in the FIRST place!]

Abraham's choice-by-Faith was God FIRST! This proved the True Nature of his heart, "Fathered" Faith, and became "Seed-Knowledge" of God for all believers! But only a "circumcised" heart can choose God over [instead of] carnal nature.

Abram's "circumcision" came (along with his name-change) in Gen 15:8 "And he said, Lord GOD, whereby (how) shall I *KNOW* that I shall inherit it?", ...and in Gen 15:13 "And he said unto Abram, '*Know* of a surety' ... "

So it is that both God and man "know of a surety" by testing & proving that "knowledge" unto "fruitfulness"! So God's Promise (the Messiah) must also be tested & proved! Aside from his more obvious trial by temptation of the Devil (having been Led there by the Holy Spirit Himself!), ..Jesus' greatest test was in the garden of the "pressing" - Gethsemene! It was here He was proved by a trial and test like no other man could have been! He was Perfect, Pure, Whole; but would submit unto deceit, corruption and damnation! [Was Jesus Christ Damned? {...for OUR Sakes?} Think about it!]

He would either yield (render) unto Death (Satan) ["Caesar"-Mt 12:17] and be taken prisoner and chief object of the Wrath of God (having been Made sin!), or He could not be Circumcised from this Domain of Death and Become the ["First-"] Fruit of Eternal Life as Broken Bread (Heavenly Manna) for others! The Promise must be Realized, [Manifested-In-flesh!] or God's Word proved a Lie!

But Jesus reminds us that, "once-Spoken,-never-Broken" as in Jn 10:35 "..... scripture cannot be broken;". What God Says, IS! If God Promised, it Was! [And WOULD be Proven By Test!]

But that was not the conclusion of the matter: it was then up to man to "hear", "know", and "follow" (obey), {as in Jn 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"} - (all of which sums up his free-will-choice!) - and to receive & believe, or reject & deny (contradict & countermand) God's Spoken Will (Word = Jesus Christ), and to prove as by a testing of God's Own Choosing the True nature and condition of his heart regarding the "end" of the matter - WILL YOU LOVE GOD FIRST & FOREMOST, ABOVE ALL!?

God has chosen man to Love - will man choose to Love & Know God as God Wishes, or not! Knowing is Loving, to God! And we see the "summation of the final conclusion" in Rev 22:11 "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."

Shakespear's Hamlet said, "to be or not to be - that is the question". To be with God, or to be without Him; Here is the Answer! Jesus Christ!

The Premise, the Promise, the Outcome and Conclusion are all One-&-the-same: Love! GOD'S LOVE! The Issue of God is Knowledge of Him. But, where the outcome of each man's soul is concerned, God's Final Will is Concluded in man's choice! We might then say that man's free choice is the Fruit of God's Sovereign WIll! So let us choose Him!
