Our "Daily Bread" Is FAITH!

OUR "DAILY BREAD" IS FAITH!

Eph 2:8,9 "For by grace (God's Giving) are ye saved through faith (His Gift); and that not of yourselves: it (Faith) is the gift (Grace!) of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Any believer who does not depend on God to GIVE faith on an ever-renewing, daily basis is not truly "walking" with God as Jesus did! [Lk 9:23 "DAILY!" & Lk 14:27 "CANNOT!"]

FAITH is the Gift, not Grace! ["Grace" is the Giving] No man believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who has not been GIVEN [Graced-with] that faith-to-believe by the Father in Heaven! Jesus said so many times, in many different ways.

But part of the confusion is due to partial quotes of scripture that are misleading - for instance: you've heard Jesus quoted as saying, "Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out!" Well that's just not true! [as quoted]

Jesus makes it very plain he's going to do a great deal of "casting out" of many who'll come to him as in Lk 13:23 "Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will SEEK to enter in, and shall not be able."

Now let's look at what Jesus really said in Jn 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me ==>shall come to me<==; and him that ==>cometh to me<== I will in no wise cast out." [big difference!]

See how perverted it becomes by such evil editing of His Words! We have but to read the very next two verses to confirm His underlining exclusiveness; Jn 6:38,39 "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."

1Jn 4:1,2 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye ("by this you know"-R.V.) the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (is Real & Alive right NOW!) is of God:"

1Jn 4:15 "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God." Ro 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

But it is God Who "opens" our ears. Ro 3:3 "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith ==> of <== God without effect?" Notice faith is "of-from" God, & always has an "effect"! [Living-Faith Causes an IMPACT {Conversion} in man]

This is why James means in Ja 2:20 "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" ...that faith that ==>doesn't "work" is "dead" (or, simply, not Living-Faith at all).

Then what is the "work" of faith? To believe, of course!

1John 5:4-10 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness (FAITH!) in himself:..." [Living-Faith Is "Wit(h)-Ness"]

God's Own Witness (Who Is the Holy Spirit Living in us) IS FAITH! Faith is Alive! He Gives from Spirit unto spirit as in Ro 14:23 "... for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."

Jn 4:23,24 ("Jesus") "... true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." That "Spirit the Lord says we worship in is Faith! [see Ezk 36:27 "CAUSE!"]

Ro 8:11 "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by ==>his Spirit<== that dwelleth in you."

It is BY the spirit of faith we discern the Spirit of God, and thus, His Will! It is also by faith we "hear" the Lords Voice! He 10:23 "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)" He 11:1,6 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." [see Mal 3:18]

He 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author (Alpha) and finisher (Omega) of our faith..." Even as Abraham "fathered" our faith!

Indeed, the "seed" of Abraham IS faith! So it is by faith we are to learn and teach as in 1Cor 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." [see also 2:15!]

Even as we know from He 10:38 "Now the just shall LIVE by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him." Now the key word here is "LIVE". But Jesus told us in Mt 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not LIVE by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

So the "just man" lives by "faith" AND [in] the "Word" of God! But there's more! Jn 6:56,57 "He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me." [refusing this is "anti-christ"; see Jn =>6:66<=, 2Jn 7]

So we also "live" by "eating & drinking" Christ's "flesh & blood"! Hmmmm. He tells us if we don't "eat & drink" Him, we have no Life in us! He also tells us we need to "labour" or work for the Word of the Spirit in using our faith to believe! [yes, WORK!]

Jn 6:27 ("Jesus") "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but (labour) for that meat (the "flesh" of His Faith & Obedience to the Word) which ==>endureth unto everlasting life,<== which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed (by the Spirit of Truth). Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." [see Mt 10:22 & Mk 13:13 "endure unto the end", Jn 4:32,34 & Jn 6:27,29 Meat/Work/Obey]

So we see how it is we might pray, "Father, give us this day (right now) our daily FAITH (the Bread of Heaven; Your Divine Faith to hear & Godly Character to choose Your Will!)".

What "bread" would we expect the "new creature-in-Christ" (a Spiritual being) to "eat", but a Spiritual "Manna"? This "food" nourishes & strengthens this "baby-overcomer" to "turn the world upside down"! [God Was/Is a "Daily-Dispensationalist"]

And it does so by the Power and the Authority 'ingested' [Breathed] in[to] it by the Living Word! God's Word is His Way and His Will is our Life with Him! Fill us Lord! Help us obey your Faith & Love in us! We believe Lord, Help Thou our unbelief!
