His renderings of many Greek and Hebrew words have shed MUCH Light on the graphic usage of that particular word as might be reflected elsewhere - possibly in traditions, ceremonies, or other commonly-held notions and concepts of the day in which it was used. I have enjoyed the clarity and vitality of this version. I now depend on it as much as the wonderful Revised Standard Version!
Strong's Exhaustive Concordance Of The Bible: Thomas Nelson Publishers - ISBN 0-8407-6750-1 [hardcover]; For about $25.00, this very large volume contains every word in the [KJV] Bible, AND their original Hebrew or Greek definitions! You don't need to be a linguist, or be fluent in the languages of the Bible to understand EXACTLY what the original Authors of the Holy Books of Inspired Scripture MEANT by those Words! A MUST for any serious student of the Bible!
PILGRIM'S PROGRESS: Moody Press - [paperback]; This is the Classic Allegorical Tale of "Christian", and his "Pilgrimage". If you have not read this book, YOU SHOULD! For hundreds of years it was the single MOST read book after the Bible in the English language! It will shed a great deal of Light on ANY Christian's Walk WITH God!
HIND'S FEET ON HIGH PLACES: -by Hannah Hurnard; This delightful Allegory is a wonderful tale of little "Much Afraid" of the "Valley of the Fearing Clan", and her Marvelous Adventures WITH The Good Shepherd as she Accompanies Him on a Journney Home to His "High Place", and Receives of Him her "Hind's Feet" [for skipping and running and cavorting and frolicing -WITH- Him in the Realm of His Domain!] I HIGHLY recommend this short paperback to you!

Sheldon; This is a wonderful story of what happened when a church in Kansas decided to take Jesus Christ as Literally REAL, and DO everything exactly as they sincerly believed HE would have done if He we they, in their circumstances - regardless of the consequesces! The Revival which resulted spread over much of the United States! Fascinating.
REESE HOWLS INTERCESSOR: -by Norman Grubb; This is a biography of a man God used in a most extraordinary and very powerful way! For those who think God does NOT Work Directly in and through some that He Raises up for Intercession, I highly recommend this book! If you've always thought that there just might be a Deeper Abiding that is Possible, and if you'd like to know a little of the COST of such a Walk-WITH god.... Get this book!
